CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
We believe that a strong biblical foundation and the work of the Holy Spirit is the building block for a life with direction, purpose and hope. Everyone is invited to attend our CE classes.
OUR ENGLISH CE CLASSES
10:00AM Children’s Church (5 to 12 years) – Children are invited, after the music portion of the 9:30AM worship service, to attend this Church Service specifically geared to them. Each week, the children learn biblical principles through a variety of activities that could include a Bible story, games and crafts. Please pick up your child by 11:00AM from the Church basement.
11:15AM Kid City Sunday (Preschool to 5th grade) – Children are invited to attend this Sunday School program that starts at 11:15AM. This year, the kids are working through the “Gospel Project for Kids” that shows how Jesus Christ fits into the entire gospel story from pre-creation to eternity. Kid City Sunday begins with Opening Session, filled with upbeat songs and dancing. Afterwards, kids are led by their teachers to their various classrooms. (Note: Class locations are posted in the foyer.) Sign-in/Sign-out procedures are required for this group. Please be prompt with the drop-off and pick-up of your child.
11:15AM Youth (Grades 6 - 12) – Teens are invited to attend these classes - Preteen (Grades 6/7), Jr. High (Grades 8/9), and Sr. High (Grades 10-12) that meet in the Blue House from 11:15AM to 12:30PM.
11:30AM Young Adults (18 to 25 years) & Adults – If you desire to explore how God is real and want to know how God is relevant to you and your environment, please join the Young Adults class in the Blue House basement. The Adult class covers a variety of topics throughout the year, striving to strengthen the faith journey. Please join them in the church basement. Both classes start at 11:30AM.
OUR CANTONESE CE CLASSES
All of the Chinese CE classes begin at 10:00AM. We currently offer four classes:
Caleb Class - This beginner-level class is led by our brother Steven Chan, aimed at people ages 55+.
In-depth Believers Class - This class is led by sister Anne Li and looks more in depth at topics for believers. This class is aimed at people between the ages of 50 and 65.
Joshua Class - This intermediate-level class is led by brother Sit Yeung and aimed at people ages 50+.
Joseph Class - This intermediate-level class is lead by brother Frederick Chan and aimed at people between the ages of 25 and 40.
